Two funding mechanisms have been established to support the implementation of the Western Balkans SALW Control Roadmap:
- UN’s Western Balkans SALW Control Roadmap Multi-Partner Trust Fund,
- UNDP’s Funding Windows Regional Project.
By 01 July 2023, the two funding mechanisms had raised approx. $30.4 million from 6 donors - Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Norway. 24 SALW control projects contributing to the Roadmap implementation have been supported thus far.
