Two funding mechanisms have been established to support the implementation of the Western Balkans SALW Control Roadmap:
- UN’s Western Balkans SALW Control Roadmap Multi-Partner Trust Fund,
- UNDP’s Funding Windows Regional Project.
By 01 January 2026, the two funding mechanisms had raised approx. $36.6 million from 6 donors - Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, France, the United Kingdom, and Norway. 33 SALW control projects contributing to the Roadmap implementation have been supported thus far.
