Veljko Perović

Programme Finance Associate

Veljko Perović has been working as Programme Finance Associate at SEESAC since December 2020. Previously, Veljko was engaged by UNDP as Finance Associate on the Partnership for Local Development Project. Veljko also worked as Finance/Procurement Officer at the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation, where he was involved in numerous projects financed by international organizations, including the EU Commission, USAID, IRC, DFID, and LDS. Prior to that, he had served as Finance Officer on the Project financed by The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, implemented by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia. Veljko holds a Degree in Banking Management from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences of the University of Belgrade.

Jana Maksimović

Project Associate

Jana Maksimović joined UNDP SEESAC as a Programme Assistant in May 2019. Previously, Jana worked for UNDP as a Consultant on the Joint Project Integrated Response to Violence Against Women and Girls Phase II and as an Intern at the UN Women Office in Serbia in 2017. Jana earned her BA degree in Social Policy and Social Work from the Faculty of Political Sciences (University of Belgrade), and her MA degree in Political Science - Gender Studies from the same faculty. In 2018, she also worked for the Japan International Cooperation Agency as a Project Assistant on the Project for the Improvement of the National Programme for Early Breast Cancer Detection.

Anita Mitić

Programme Associate

Anita Mitić joined SEESAC team as Programme Associate in December 2021. As she earned her Master’s degree in international relations as a Fulbright International Student from the Bush School at Texas A&M University. During her studies she concentrated on Women, Peace and Security and conflict and development. Prior to her studies in the U.S. Anita served as a Director of Youth Initiative for Human Rights, a regional NGO. Additionally, Anita graduated from Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade, and after graduation, she was selected for Hurford Youth Fellowship in World Movement for Democracy, that is part on National Endowment for Democracy.

Maja Antonović

Project Associate

Maja Antonović joined the team as Programme Assistant in November 2019. Previously, Maja worked for the Ministry of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning of the Republic of Serbia as Junior Adviser at the Cabinet Minister. Maja worked with the OSCE/ODIHR on Limited Election Observation Missions in Serbia and has experience in private sector as well. Maja holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in International relations and Diplomacy from the University of Trieste, Italy.

Igor Lužanin

Communications Associate

Igor Lužanin assumed the role of Communication Associate at SEESAC in January 2024. Before joining SEESAC, he served as a Communications Officer at the National Alliance for Local Economic Development. In this capacity, Igor worked on promoting policies and initiatives related to digitalization and entrepreneurship. His professional journey includes experience at national and international marketing agencies such as IPSOS Strategic Marketing and Media House. Igor's commitment to leveraging strategic communications for positive change aligns seamlessly with SEESAC's mission for regional cooperation and security. Currently enrolled in the final year of Management Studies at the University of Belgrade.

Tamara Baković Jadžić

Project Assistant

Tamara Baković Jadžić joined the SEESAC team as Administrative Assistant in March 2022.  Previously she worked for two years as a Union Organizer at Unitech Serbia, in cooperation with UNI Global Union. Before that, Tamara worked as a Program Assistant at Roma Forum of Serbia and was an editorial board member at online portal Mašina.  She was an editor, translator and an author on numerous publications, on the topics of human rights and trade unionism. She holds a BA in Cultural Management. 

Emilija Lazić

Project Assistant

Emilija Lazić joined UNDP SEESAC team in October 2022 as an Administrative Assistant. Previously, Emilija worked as a Project Assistant at EU Info Point in Niš. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Niš, where she is currently working on her Master's degree in Project Management.

Katarina Živić

Project Assistant

Katarina Živić joined the SEESAC team as a Project Assistant in September 2023. She is pursuing her Master’s degree in Human Rights and Multi-level Governance at the Faculty of Political Science, Law and International Studies, University of Padova, and she attained her Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Public Relations from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Niš. Previously, Katarina worked at the National Youth Council of Serbia as a Programme Assistant and has experience in the private sector as well.

Marija Dejanović

Project Assistant

Marija Dejanović joined SEESAC in October 2023 as an Administrative Assistant. She has previously worked as a Corporate Travel Project Manager at a travel agency in Belgrade. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Belgrade, Philology Faculty. Her major is Turkish language, literature, and culture. Marija has also successfully earned her Master’s degree in International Relations: Turkey, Europe, and the Middle East, from Bosporus University in Istanbul.

Andreja Marčenko

Project Assistant

Andreja Marčenko joined the UNDP SEESAC team in October 2023 as an Administrative Clerk. From 2017 to 2023, he worked for the Commissariat for Refugees and Migrations within the framework of the EU-funded project to support migratory flows as an Asylum and Reception Centers Coordinator in six municipalities in Serbia. After the Commissariat, he joined the International Exchanges and Research Board as a Programme Associate in the Learn to Discern Media Literacy Program. From 2021 to 2023, he was engaged as an External Consultant on two interregional cooperation projects. He holds an MA in Philosophy from Belgrade University.
