Project Analyst
Iva Savić serves as a Project Officer responsible for SEESAC’s reporting and knowledge management. She joined the team in this role in 2021, but was previously with SEESAC between 2011 and 2016 when she managed SEESAC’s Arms Exports Control in the Western Balkans project, SALW awareness-raising activities and the overall communications of the initiative. Iva holds a Master’s degree in International Security Policy from Columbia University in New York. Prior to her current engagement, Iva collaborated with UN Women and OSCE in Serbia on gender and SALW control related issues. She led a human security focused-advocacy project at Freedom House in Washington, D.C. and served as a Research Assistant at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) on issues ranging from U.S.-Russian security, democracy development, and human trafficking linked to the presence of peacekeepers and other international contingents in the Western Balkans.
