Regional Arms Law Compendium

Tackling small arms and light weapons issues in many instances demands a cross-border approach, and thus coordination of actions and initiatives between governments as well as international stakeholders is imperative. Legislative approximation is at the core of this process, therefore, in order to harmonize these efforts, SEESAC has collated relevant arms laws in force from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo*, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia with the aim of compiling a new South Eastern Europe Regional Arms Law Compendium (latest compiled by SEESAC in 2004). The Compendium will serve as an easy-reference guide for SALW legislation in the region and is available in Albanian, BCMS, English and Romanian.
