The Regional Training on Critical Thinking Skills and Analytical Capacities in Belgrade

SEESAC organized the Regional Training on Critical Thinking Skills and Analytical Capacities in Belgrade from 10 to 13 May. for analysts and representatives of Firearms Focal Points from South East Europe.

In the course of four days, participants worked on advancing their knowledge of the intelligence process, logical reasoning, collecting and processing data, briefing etc. Besides theoretical knowledge, participants had an opportunity to put their knowledge to use while they worked on practical exercises. On the last day of the training, participants presented their work when they had an opportunity to show new analytical methods they learned as well as their briefing skills.

The training was organized in the scope of SEESAC’s more extensive work on providing assistance to the FFPs in South East Europe through training, education, and technical support as part of the project Support for Enhancing the Fight Against the Illegal Possession, Misuse, and Trafficking of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) in the Western Balkans project, funded by the European Commission, the European, Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations, through the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA II).
