SEESAC Organizes Analyst Notebook Trainings in Belgrade and Tirana

SEESAC organized two five-day training courses on the Analyst Notebook for the representatives of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia in Belgrade on 10-14 June and the Albanian State Police in Tirana on 23-27 September.

The trainings provided participants, working in data collection and analysis, with the opportunity to explore advanced visual analysis techniques, create charts from intelligence reports, and analyze the imported data in practice. In addition, through case study scenarios, visualization exercises, and simulations, participants had the opportunity to practically apply investigative methods to real-world scenarios, sharpening their investigative skills in a digital environment, and enabling them to more easily identify patterns, connections, and trends.

By improving data visualization skills and analytical capabilities to interpret large, complex data sets, these trainings support more efficient, data-driven investigations, improving both operational and strategic capacities of Firearm Focal Points to conduct firearms investigations.

This training was organized as part of the Regional IPA project in Support for Enhancing the Fight Against the Illegal Possession, Misuse, and Trafficking of Small Arms and Light Weapons in the Western Balkans (2021/425-067).
