A 56-year-old man killed his 50-year-old wife with a crossbow and then died by suicide using a hunting rifle. Earlier, he reportedly attacked his 79-year-old mother, who escaped to a neighbour and was taken to the hospital with injuries. The incident occurred in the family home; the perpetrator was a retired firefighter.
