A 74-year-old man sustained injuries to his hand and arm after an unidentified object resembling a pen exploded in his hand. The victim had found the object on a street and brought it home. Upon handling the object in his apartment, it unexpectedly activated/detonated, causing a gunshot-style wound and hand fractures. Police conducted an investigation and seized the device for forensic expert testing to determine its nature.
