1)

Master's or higher degree in above mentioned fields with 2 years of relevant experience at the national or international level in providing management advisory services and hands-on experience in design, implementation and monitoring of projects;

OR

Licence degree in above mentioned fields with 3 years of relevant experience at the national or international level in providing management advisory services and hands-on experience in design, implementation and monitoring of projects;

OR

Bachelor’s degree in above mentioned fields with 4 years of relevant experience at the national or international level in providing management advisory services and hands-on experience in design, implementation and monitoring of projects;

2) Knowledge on gender equality in security sector reform in the Western Balkans a requirement;

3) Experience in project development and implementation in the field of gender equality in security sector reform in South East Europe a requirement;

4) Experience in partnership building at international, regional and national level a strong asset;

5) Experience in procuring goods and services a strong asset;

6) Knowledge of  political and economic situation in the Western Balkans a requirement;

7) Knowledge of the existent legal and institutional frameworks on gender equality in South East Europe a strong asset.

Language Requirements:

Written and spoken proficiency in English and Serbian/Serbo-Croat is required.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of working experience on communication and public awareness campaigns, in a development related field (democratic governance, human rights, poverty reduction, etc.);
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in international development organizations in South East Europe;
• Previous working experience in EU funded projects and knowledge of EU visibility guidelines will be an advantage;
• Working experience in communications in area of disarmament and arms control will be an advantage.

Language skills:

• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; knowledge of another South East European language will be an advantage.

Education:

• MA in political or social sciences or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in project implementation, monitoring and reporting, in a development related field (democratic governance, human rights, poverty reduction, etc.);
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in international development organizations in South East Europe;
• Experience in working with government institutions in South East Europe;
• Working experience in area of disarmament and arms control will be an advantage.

Language skills

• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English, knowledge of another language used in South East Europe would be an asset.

Graduate degree in digital or visual communication, journalism, communications design, or similar field;

Prior experience in content management, digital/visual communications, content visualization/digital design, social media campaigns and community engagement;

Ability to run website CMS;

Good writing and editing skills in English required, ability to translate technical content into clear and concise messaging desired;

Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Lighthouse, SWAY, InDesign, and other design software desired;

Experience with content management systems and visual storytelling platforms required; multi-media experience a plus;

Familiarity with arms control issues will be considered an asset.  

University degree in Social Sciences or related field;

More than 10 years of demonstrated expertise in research and analysis required;

Substantive knowledge of SALW control and/or human security is required; 

Practical experience with SALW control projects is desirable;

Previous experience with the topic in South East Europe is desirable; 

Demonstrated creativity, strategic and analytical thinking and ability to review and conduct data and comparative analysis.

Evidence of ability to communicate and express ideas clearly; to work independently and in teams.

Excellent writing skills.

Demonstrates interest and understanding of current events, globally, in Europe and in the region.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.

Advanced level of English for writing and oral presentation

Education and Work Experience

Final year of University or MA in social sciences.

Strong research and analytical skills and previous experience with research projects in the areas: arms control, citizen security, arms violence prevention.

Working experience in the international organization (including voluntary engagement).

A secondary education diploma with 4 years of experience

OR

A Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience

4 years of relevant administrative experience with secondary education or 1 year of relevant administrative experience with Bachelors degree, additional experience will be a strong asset;

Experience in organization of meetings, workshops, seminars and conferences; comprehensive knowledge of and experience working in project administration;

Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.).

Experience in handling of web-based management systems; experience in the use of ATLAS System is an asset.

Education and Work Experience

University degree in technical sciences or related field;

More than 10 years of expertise in SALW or ballistics;

Substantive knowledge of SALW marking legal and technical requirements;

Practical experience in similar SALW control projects in South East Europe;

Proven Expertise in the use of Small Arms marking technology;

Knowledge of English language.
