Police arrested four men and filed a criminal report against a fifth for the illegal killing of a bear, a protected species.  In a coordinated action, the police checked three vehicles and found a bear skin and seven hunting rifles—one illegally possessed, which were seized. Authorities later discovered the decapitated bear’s body in a remote location. Investigation revealed that the suspects had used hunting dogs and firearms to pursue and kill the animal. At the time of the incident, a hunting ban was in effect. Criminal charges were filed for illegal hunting and unlawful possession of firearms and explosives.
