A man fired several shots at two veterinary inspectors who were conducting a routine inspection of his agricultural property. The man returned to his house afterwards. No injuries were reported. When the police arrived at the scene, the man alleged that the inspectors were attempting to extort him, which provoked his actions. The police arrested the man, seized a pistol, a rifle, 50 bullets, and initiated criminal proceedings against him for endangering public safety.
