The Police carried out house searches on 4 people aged between 32 and 65 years old, suspected of illegal possession of weapons and other items used in poaching activities. As a result, the police detected and seized several weapons and ammunition of various types. Among them was a long gun with a smooth-bore barrel model IJ-18, a long gun with a smooth-bore barrel model TOZ -54, both of 12 mm caliber, 45 cartridges of 28 mm caliber, cartridges of 9x18 mm caliber intended for a "Makarov" model pistol, cartridges of 22 Lr. Caliber intended for a rifled barrel, 20 cartridges of 12 mm caliber. The police also found and seized impressive quantities of powder attributable to explosive substances. The found ammunition was adapted and used by the suspects for hunting wild animals without proper authorization and during the prohibited period at night (poaching). Investigation continues.
