Following a conflict, a 44-year-old man was shot and killed by a 48-year-old man, who subsequently fired a rifled hunting weapon toward the victim, his companions, and their vehicles.  Police seized from the crime scene two hunting rifles belonging to the victim and his companions. During extended searches, authorities found in a remote mountain area the vehicle and clothing allegedly used by the suspect, as well as a bag containing night-vision and thermal binoculars, a weapon holder, and a flashlight. Further searches of the suspect’s and his relatives’ homes led to the seizure of three additional hunting rifles, war ammunition (pellets and rifled rounds), money, 450 suspected cannabis seeds, and two safes. The 48-year-old suspect was declared wanted but was arrested later and charged with aggravated murder, unauthorized possession of firearms and ammunition, and narcotics production and sale. The hunting rifle was seized as evidence.
