Law enforcement agencies dismantled a criminal group involved in extortion and uncovered a large cache of weapons and ammunition. The suspects allegedly attempted to obtain €30,000 from a 40-year-old associate through threats and intimidation, invoking a fictitious debt. During the searches, officers discovered and seized 16 firearms, including machine guns, rifles (AKSU, Beretta, Winchester), sniper weapons, around 10,000 rounds of various calibers, five grenades, and two RPG-22 launchers, all hidden within a wall. Additionally, three passports with the same photo but different identities and other prohibited items were seized. Four individuals were detained, and investigations continue to determine the circumstances and origin of the weaponry.
