Police uncovered caches of illegally owned weapons and ammunition following a series of searches targeting suspected poaching activity. Eight individuals aged between 23 and 58 are under investigation for illegal possession of firearms and related materials.  Authorities seized around 270 cartridges of various calibres, two firearms, two air pistols, a smoothbore weapon, a grenade, and 200 grams of gunpowder. Additionally, five hunting rifles were found stored in violation of legal safety standards. All seized items will undergo ballistic and trace analysis to determine whether they were used in criminal activity.
