Police responded to reports of an intoxicated man armed with a hunting rifle, firing shots randomly toward homes. Police found that the suspect, a 58-year-old man, had entered his 24-year-old neighbour’s yard, disturbed by noise. He demanded silence and fired a shot into the air before fleeing. Later, the police found him in his own yard, visibly impaired by alcohol and in possession of a legally owned TOZ-BM hunting rifle. He threatened the police and pointed the weapon at one of them, but was quickly subdued, handcuffed, and detained for 72 hours.
