A 48-year-old man attempted to rob a shop, threatening the 33-year-old woman employee with a replica pistol and a machete. A 46-year-old man intervened, subduing the perpetrator and taking the replica pistol. Both the shop worker and the man who intervened sustained injuries during the incident. Police arrested the 48-year-old man for attempted robbery. The 48-year-old man is also suspected of driving another robber to and from two robberies that happened on 27  January 2026.
