Police found and seized a hunting rifle held on a licence that had expired in 2005, an ammunition belt with eight cartridges, eight magazines with 76 cartridges for an automatic weapon and seven cartridges for a semi-automatic weapon during a search of the house and outbuildings of a 62-year-old man. A military compass, a military knife and Army booklet were also seized. The perpetrator was interviewed and detained for 48 hours.
