A 39-year-old man and his 32-year-old wife were killed after three perpetrators blocked their vehicle with two cars and fired around 30 rounds from automatic rifles. The suspects, aged 22, 23 and 36, fled and were declared wanted. Police reported that the attack was an act of revenge for the 2016 killing of the 23-year-old suspect's father, for which the victim had previously been accused but never convicted. On 18 July 2026, a 40-year-old man suspected of assisting the perpetrators by hiding the getaway vehicle was arrested abroad, deported and detained. Police seized the vehicle during the investigation.
