A 34-year-old policeman was shot and killed, and a 50-year-old policeman was shot and injured with a pistol by a 33-year-old man during the routine check of his car at the border crossing point. The perpetrator fled the scene, and when the police found him and tried to arrest him, he opened fire at them. The police killed the perpetrator in self-defence. Appropriate measures were taken against persons who are suspected of helping the perpetrator after the shooting.
