Six blocks of TNT were placed on the back seat of a vehicle driven by a 57-year-old man with the intent to kill him. The explosive device did not detonate because the connection between the detonator and the explosive material failed. Police identified two 39-year-old men as suspects and declared them wanted after the court ordered detention on remand for attempted premeditated murder in cooperation and illegal possession and production of explosive weapons and ammunition. On 3 June 2026, police identified and arrested a 21-year-old man as a collaborator, and during a search of his house, they seized an illegally possessed pistol with ammunition. Police are continuing efforts to locate and arrest the two wanted suspects.
