A 48-year-old woman reported that her husband had subjected her to physical and psychological violence and had frightened and threatened her with a firearm. Following the report, police searched the 65-year-old man’s house and seized an AK-47 automatic rifle and a magazine. The man was interviewed, denied the accusations and was released under regular procedure after proceedings were initiated for domestic violence and unauthorised possession of weapons.
