In the codenamed “Lekaj” police operation aimed at preventing and cracking down on the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic plants,  2 men, aged 59 and 36, were caught for cultivating 1200 narcotic plants in 8 mini-plots in the hills of the village. The two other men were identified and declared wanted. During searches carried out in several apartments and premises, 20,000 euros, 1,000 cannabis seeds, 1 sports weapon, ammunition and other illegal items were seized. Also, a portion of the narcotic plants was seized as material evidence, while the rest was destroyed by burning.
