A pistol was seized during a police search in connection with the arrest of a 37 and 47-year-old men suspected of organising unauthorised combat training in Serbia for an estimated 150 to 170 participants, citizens of Moldova and Romania. The purpose of the training, according to investigators, was to prepare participants to resist law enforcement in the event of unrest during the Moldovan elections scheduled for late September. In addition to the firearm, police also seized laptops, mobile phones, and a device used for detecting and tracking radio-frequency signals. One of the suspects is also being charged with illegal possession of firearms and explosives.
