A 40-year-old man was shot and seriously injured with a pistol by a 28-year-old man when a verbal and physical dispute involving several people escalated. The suspect fled the scene but was identified and arrested shortly afterwards. The police recovered the pistol believed to have been used in the shooting. The victim has subsequently died in hospital two days later.
