A 42-year-old woman was physically assaulted by her 48-year-old  husband in their family home, while being threatened with death. Following the incident, police intervened and arrested a 48-year-old perpetrator on suspicion of domestic violence and unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition. During the intervention, officers discovered a pistol and ammunition in the suspect’s possession, for which he did not hold a valid permit.
