Firearms and explosive materials, along with large quantities of narcotics, were seized during coordinated searches of multiple private residences, other premises, and vehicles used by eight suspects. The arrests were part of an extensive police operation targeting organized crime. The individuals are suspected of the unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotics, as well as the illegal possession, sale, and exchange of firearms over a multi-year period. The operation resulted in the documented seizure and illicit distribution of approximately 52 kilograms of cocaine, 170 kilograms of marijuana, 47,800 ecstasy tablets, 10 kilograms of amphetamine (speed), and 19 liters of amphetamine oil. The estimated unlawful financial gain from these activities amounts to over 2.7 million euros. The investigation was conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecutor and with support from multiple domestic and international law enforcement agencies (EUROPOL).
