A rifle was used by a man who entered the yard of a family home and shot a dog that was sitting in front of the house. The incident is being investigated as a criminal offence of animal torture and killing. The perpetrator fled the scene, but during a further investigation, the police identified him, and he will be charged for the criminal offense of torture and killing of animals. The injured dog is receiving treatment.
