A man was shot with a firearm at least twice while sitting in his vehicle by another man from a moving vehicle. At the time of the incident, the victim's two-year-old child was in the vehicle. The shooter fled the scene. Police identified the shooter and launched a search for him, while the victim was hospitalised. Both the victim and the suspect are known to law enforcement and have documented links to organised criminal activity. Another man was arrested for assisting the perpetrator after the attempted murder on August 26th, 2026. A second suspect, a man, was subsequently taken into custody in connection with the attempted murder. Investigators suspect that he drove the vehicle from which the main suspect fired at the victim and that he participated in the attack according to a pre-arranged plan.
