During the searches carried out as part of a targeted police operation to locate illegal weapons and ammunition, the police raided an apartment used by a 40-year-old and a 45-year-old individual. In possession of the 40-year-old perpetrator, the police found and seized an automatic rifle with two magazines, 79 rounds of 7.62×39 mm ammunition, two unidentified rifle cartridges, 92 rounds of 9 mm ammunition, and an HS 9 mm pistol with a valid gun license. Belonging to other perpetrator, the 45-year-old individual, officers seized a hunting rifle with a valid license, 44 rounds of 12 mm ammunition, an M 57 pistol registered to another person, six rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition, 32 rounds of 7.65 mm ammunition, and a Blow gas pistol along with 25 rounds for it. Both of them will be charged with committing the criminal offence of unlawful possession and carrying of weapons and explosive materials.
