Thirteen people, i.e. eight men, three women and two boys, were shot and killed, and three people were injured with a firearm by a 45-year-old man. The perpetrator initiated the attack after a verbal argument in a café, returning with a firearm where he killed four men, aged 60, 70, 39 and 45. At that location, he also injured a woman, aged 41, and two men, aged 42 and 40. The perpetrator then went to another location, where he killed two men, aged 55 and 39, and injured a 38-year-old woman. The perpetrator moved to the home of one of the already-killed victims and killed the victim's parents, aged 70 and 63. At the third location, he killed two boys, aged 14 and 9. He went on to kill his 42-year-old sister at the fourth location and a 52-year-old woman at the fifth location. During the arrest, the perpetrator failed to discard the weapon and shot himself in an attempted suicide. He died in the hospital. The police seized a pistol with one round in the chamber and 10 rounds in the magazine. 64 additional bullets and a pistol magazine containing 15 more rounds were found in the perpetrator's clothing. A total of 37 shell casings. 9 bullets and 11 bullet fragments were seized from the crime scenes. The perpetrator had a prior criminal record, including for illegal possession of firearms, which were seized from him. The motives for the case are under investigation.
