As a follow-up to the investigation into the suspected hand grenade attack in March 2026, police searched the house of a 36-year-old man and found and seized a pistol. A separate case was initiated against him for unauthorised ownership, control, or possession of weapons. The man was not found at his address and was wanted by police.
