A 30-year-old man and a 27-year-old man were arrested on suspicion that they had committed the crimes of endangering public safety and illegal possession of weapons or explosives after the police had been notified that they were walking on the street armed. Police discovered and seized an abandoned MP40 rifle, along with a magazine and 11 rounds of ammunition. The suspects were arrested and taken to the detention facility.
