In a coordinated operation named "Štafeta" involving over 260 police officers, law enforcement from Serbia and Germany disrupted the activities of a transnational drug trafficking network operating between Serbia and Germany. The investigation, supported by Eurojust and involving a joint investigative team (JIT), led to the arrest of 10 individuals in Serbia and Germany. The operation targeted a network smuggling cocaine from the Netherlands to Germany and Serbia, using cafes as fronts for illegal activities and money laundering. Three persons were arrested in Serbia, aged 20, 35, and 33. Five firearms, ammunition and ammunition magazines, and equipment such as a device for detecting eavesdropping equipment, vehicles, money and other items were seized.
