In the period from July to November this year, police officers documented, several persons suspected of illegal possession of weapons and ammunition as well as other objects used in poaching. During the searches at the homes of 10 people aged between 20 and 50, police officers found and seized 324 5.45 mm caliber cartridges intended for the AK-74 Kalashnikov and one 9 mm caliber cartridge, three 4.5 mm caliber IJ 38 air weapons, three different models of air pistols, one 12 mm caliber long gun with a smooth bore barrel, all illegally possessed and without any license. Violations were also detected in the possession and storage of five legally owned hunting weapons. The weapons were forwarded for ballistics and tracing to determine whether or not they had been used in the commission of other crimes.
