A hunter noticed two bears above the forest path, after which the larger one, reportedly a female, suddenly attacked him. He managed to defend himself by firing his hunting rifle, killing the animal. The hunter sustained injuries to his head, neck, and leg, caused by the bear during the attack. The second bear fled after the gunshot. The hunter received medical treatment and was later released home.
