Police seized a Zastava M88 pistol with two empty magazines from a 49-year-old man reported for physically and verbally assaulting his spouse. Following the victim’s report and medical documentation of injuries, officers conducted a search of the suspect’s residence, locating the firearm registered to his father. The suspect was detained on suspicion of domestic violence, while separate proceedings will be initiated regarding the firearm in accordance with weapons legislation.
