A 28-year-old man taking part in a protest was hit in the left eye, with a foreign body suspected to be a rubber bullet discharged by police left lodged in it. He had emergency surgery the same evening and was flown abroad for a second operation. The officer who discharged it has not been identified, and the prosecution and the police oversight agency are investigating.
