Police seized approximately 3,300 pyrotechnic items during checks conducted under the “Petarda” operation. From a man identified as a repeat offender previously convicted of economic crime–related offences, officers seized 2,921 firecrackers, 34 fireworks, 350 sparklers, and 15 expandable metal batons. By order of the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office, a criminal complaint was filed against the suspect on suspicion of illegal trade.
