A 47-year-old woman was shot and injured with an EKOL FIRAT Compact pistol (9mm) by her intimate partner, a 53-year-old man, who was under the influence of alcohol.  The pistol in illegal possession, along with 16 bullets and other illegally owned firearms, were seized from the couple's yard and house. The perpetrator was arrested.
