A 45-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence and endangering police officers during an armed confrontation. Police responded to a report that the suspect was physically assaulting his wife and minor children (at least two) and was in possession of a firearm. Upon arrival, the suspect fired an automatic weapon, an unlicensed Kalashnikov rifle, toward the officers before fleeing into a nearby forested area. Following a two-hour search, law enforcement arrested the suspect and seized the Kalashnikov rifle with a round chambered, along with an unlicensed knife.
