A 19-year-old man entered a jewelry shop armed with an EKOL Jackal 9 mm gas pistol and attempted to rob it. The 34-year-old owner stopped the attempted robbery, and the suspect fled but was located and arrested by police. Police seized the EKOL Jackal" gas pistol, an empty magazine, a black mask, a shoulder bag, a scooter, and a helmet, which are suspected to have been used during the attempted robbery. The suspect was interviewed in the presence of a defence lawyer and detained for 48 hours.
