A 43-year-old man used a firearm to forcibly kidnap a 45-year-old man, driving him to a remote location where he was unlawfully detained and robbed him. The victim was tied near dogs that inflicted physical injuries. Two days later, the perpetrator falsely reported to police that he had caught an unknown person trying to break into his property. Upon investigation, the police uncovered the actual sequence of events leading to the 43-year-old’s arrest on charges related to kidnapping, assault, and illegal firearm use.
