A 43-year-old man, a Tajikistan citizen, was denied entry at the airport for security reasons. After this, the man took a border policeman's pistol and shot three people, of whom a 31-year-old policeman and a 40-year-old airport security employee died, while one passenger was injured. The perpetrator was handcuffed and detained. He reportedly received injuries as a result of the confrontation with the police.  Prosecutors are investigating the incident as a terrorist attack. The perpetrator died in the hospital due to the injuries caused by the fight with the police. According to some unconfirmed sources, the perpetrator had ten gunshot wounds.
