Police in the Zenica-Doboj Canton carried out operation “META V” targeting a network involved in drug trafficking and illegal weapons possession. In coordinated raids, 15 suspects were arrested, while two others had been previously detained. Searches uncovered 5 pistols, 1 rifle, ammunition, 1 kg of amphetamine, 4 kg of marijuana, 8 g of cocaine, 6 precision scales, money, and 12 mobile phones, alongside other evidence. Earlier stages of the investigation led to the seizure of over 9 kg of drugs, two hand grenades, and two pistols. The detainees face charges of organised crime, drug trafficking, and unauthorised possession of weapons and explosives.
