Following a report of a traffic obstruction where a driver abandoned a vehicle, police officers located the man at his residence and upon arrival, officers observed a hunting rifle with an optical sight and seven rounds of ammunition for which the man lacked proper documentation. Additionally, a tactical vest (rap) containing two automatic rifle magazines with 29 rounds of ammunition was found on the terrace. The man, who was under the influence of alcohol (0.52 g/kg), voluntarily surrendered the weapons and ammunition to the police. He was subsequently arrested for refusing to follow lawful police orders and detained. Investigations into the illegal possession of the weapons are ongoing.
