A 30-year-old man, a member of an organized criminal group involved in the illegal transportation of Ukrainian citizens to Moldova, was arrested. As a result of searches of the suspect's home and vehicles, law enforcement officers seized a hunting rifle in illegal possession, nearly 50 rounds of 16 mm and 50 rounds of 22 mm calibre ammunition, a pistol with 15 blank cartridges, and the suspect's car used to transport Ukrainian citizens.
Investigations are currently continuing to identify and hold accountable other persons involved in the crime.
