A 27-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the left side of his chest. He stated that he had been cleaning a long firearm when it discharged and injured him. He was taken to the hospital and was reported to be out of danger. Police found and seized an AK-47 suspected of having been used, 11 cartridges of 7.62x39 mm caliber, and one shell casing from a van at the scene.
