Police seized four firearms and 75 rounds of ammunition during raids carried out from September 21–27 as part of Operation “ARSENAL.” A total of 42 firearm owners were inspected, and 15 administrative violation reports were issued. Two of the four firearms were illegally owned, while the other two were legally owned but violated storage or carrying regulations. Of the 75 rounds seized, 58 were illegally held. Police say inspections will continue to prevent and detect violations of firearms and ammunition laws.
