During a search of a residential property used by a 41-year-old man, several individuals were found on the premises. As a result, five firearms and more than 270 rounds of ammunition were seized. From a 39-year-old man, police seized a Česká Zbrojovka 75 pistol with a magazine and 10 rounds of ammunition, an additional magazine with 10 rounds of ammunition, and a Browning pistol with 89 cartridges cal. 7.65 and 94 rounds of ammunition cal. 9mm. The suspect had a firearm licence for the above firearms. An additional 31 rounds of ammunition of various types and calibres were seized from a 41-year-old man. Following criminal processing, it was determined that the ammunition belonged to the 26-year-old man from who the police seized three hunting rifles, a Benelli, a Beretta, and a Browning, as well as 39 rounds of ammunition, for which the individual possessed a valid firearms licence. Additionally, two suspects tested positive for cocaine and were arrested for offences related to the misuse of narcotic drugs. Relevant authorities initiated procedures to reassess issued firearms permits and consider permanent confiscation of the seized weapons, in line with applicable legal provisions.
